Air Show Picnic

We shall have food, drink, and interesting company from 11 - 4.

Come whenever you want and

stay as long as you like.

There will be a shuttle leaving from the Four Seasons promptly at noon.

(Although Taxis  will probably be a more efficient mode of transportation)

The parade of big ships come into the bay starting at 11:30 for about an hour, so if you're interested in seeing those, you might want to come on the early side.

The Air Show is from 12:30 to 3:00 and then the Blue Angels will fly from 3:00 - 4:00; if you're most interested in the Blue Angels, feel free to come later in the day.

We will have picnic blankets, some lawn chairs, frisbees, softballs,

and good food.

We will be on grass and this is a picnic so attire is very casual.

Kristin will be going to a

Bhakti Urban Flow yoga class with one of her favorite teachers, Rusty Wells

This is a vigorous, entertaining yoga experience probably appropriate only for those who have a regular yoga practice

Shuttles will be leaving from the Four Seasons on Market Street about a block from the Union Square area at 4pm
and will be returning periodically starting at 10:30pm

 

      
                 

If you choose to drive the directions are extremely simple:
Whether coming from Oakland or San Francisco

make your way to the Bay Bridge.
Get into the far left lane, you will exit from the left lane.
Take the Yerba Buena/Treasure Island exit.
Go down the hill to the Main Gate.

[definitely soak in the fantastic view of San Francisco on your left]
(if coming from the Oakland side, follow the road around the hill and then down the other side until you come to the main gate).
After going through the main gate, stay straight on Avenue of the Palms. Take the first Right onto California Avenue.

Then take the first Left onto Avenue B.  Use the parking lot on the Right.

(Attendants will be available to direct you)
